Meet Judy Luther

Judy Luther is the creator of Trust Centered Training™, a program based on the latest research on canine cognition and how dogs function and learn. She is regarded with respect and is well-known across the country and abroad for her skill and knowledge regarding behavior.

Based in Branson, Missouri, Judy has provided training services for over 28 years, helping pet parents with their dogs. Her skill and experience include a variety of species, both domestic and exotic. Judy's experience is valued as she brings knowledge and understanding through her very popular training business, Dog Star Training, where she teaches a wide range of dog-related classes, in addition to providing private training and consultation. She is a highly sought-after speaker, evaluator, volunteer, and legal advisor. She provides animal talent for print advertising, film, motion pictures, and stage entertainment. Her skill in gaining the trust of the animals she works with and her understanding of the people she teaches guides them to a high level of success.

Judy teaches animals utilizing the latest scientific research, which led to the creation, development, and implementation of Trust Centered Training™. She is a Certified Pet Dog Trainer, a member of the Pet Professional Guild, a Graduate of the Karen Pryor Academy, a Certified Canine Massage Therapist, and member of the American Humane Educators Association. In addition, Judy is the chair of the Pet Professional Guild Canine Division and sits on the Advocacy Division and Steering Committee.

She offers consulting to numerous shelters and rescue organizations across the country. Judy also works with schools to educate children on how to prevent dog bites and how to be kind to their pets. She is also a mentor to students at the Animal Behavior College.
