Meet Else Verbeek

Dr. Else Verbeek is an Associate Professor in Animal Welfare Science at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences and a dog behaviour consultant at Amazing Animal Minds.

With over 18 years of research experience, her work focuses on emotions, stress, and cognition in animals. She has published widely on topics such as fear, anxiety, and welfare assessment, and she regularly translates this science into practical strategies for trainers and behaviourists.
