Meet Sharon Vincuilla

Sharon Vincuilla is a doctor of occupational therapy, human-dog bond facilitator, and somatic consent educator. She founded Human Canine Collaborative and provides coaching, consulting, & classes to support humans and dogs through trauma recovery, grief journeying, and lifestyle modification by cultivating skills in nervous system balance and somatic consent, in the context of their relationship with dogs.

Sharon also provides continuing education opportunities to dog care professionals and animal-assisted intervention providers, focused on trauma-informed care in consent-based interactions with humans and dogs.

She has been a featured guest on podcasts including Rescue Dog Love, Wag Out Loud (July 2023), Share the Load, & Whole Body Healing.  My Dog is My Home hired Sharon to facilitate a workshop for the Co-Sheltering Conference 2023.

Sharon will present a 2-part workshop series with Behavior Vets in August/September 2023 on sensory processing in dogs. She is a regular guest speaker for master's occupational therapy students at the University of California-Dominguez Hills.
