Meet Sharon Wachsler

Sharon Wachsler is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer and a graduate with distinction from Karen Pryor Academy for Animal Training & Behavior. She has both personal and professional experience in the disability community, having worked as a disability information and referral specialist before becoming disabled by chronic illness herself for 18 years.

In 1998 Sharon trained her first service dog. Since then, training, writing, and speaking about service dogs has been her life's passion. After recovering her health, she began working as a pet and service dog trainer. In 2014 she opened At Your Service Dog Training which offers service dog training both online and in Hadley, MA.

Sharon and her staff help disabled people and their families train their own canine assistants. In addition, Sharon provides mentoring and consulting services for professional trainers on service dog topics.
