Meet Jessica Pierce

Jessica Pierce is an American bioethicist known for her work in the field of animal ethics and the philosophy of human-animal relationships.

Her passionate advocacy for the well-being of animals has sparked global conversations and driven positive change in the way society perceives and treats non-human beings.

She is an Affiliate Faculty at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical School. Her most recent book is Who’s a Good Dog? And How to Be a Better Human (University of Chicago Press, 2023).
