Marilyn Mele is a family dog educator and founder of Dog Wisdom Workshop. Her mission is to bring people and dogs closer through knowledge and enrichment. 

As a former classroom teacher, Marilyn understands that children must first be physically well and emotionally secure in order to learn and solve problems. Her 40 years working with dogs have convinced her that the same is true for dogs.

A core principle of Marilyn's dog parent education is, "The dog's well-being is always more important than the task."  This is especially important for dogs in emotional distress.

Marilyn works online with clients seeking help for their stressed and over-excited family dogs. She guides dog-person teams as they construct a solid foundation of security, trust, and benevolent leadership.
