Meet Tricia Hollingshead

After teaching Special Needs Children and Sign Language Users  Tricia Hollingshead's passion for observation and nonverbal communication took a sideways step to work with dogs and their families. Tricia's sensitivity to Body Language and subtle signaling underpins a lifetime's Behaviour business and her take on Home Boarding.  Her biggest thrill is watching clients make informed decisions arising from their observation of their dog's emotional experience.

Her popular (and now translated) family book:  LISTEN TO ME! - Exploring The Emotional Life of Your Dog (2020)  features hundreds of photos of everyday scenarios to guide readers in understanding why, and how their dog might express their needs.

Currently, alongside Cathy Madson and some very enthusiastic volunteers Tricia's huge and crazy dream is taking shape - creating a Dog Body Language Stock Library - an ever-growing collection of easily accessible visual resources for professionals to share with the whole world!
